The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains a database of all board-certified physicians certified to prescribe medical cannabis. You can search for a qualified doctor in your area here.
How does a doctor qualify to prescribe medical cannabis in Texas?
To prescribe medical cannabis, physicians must be licensed and practice medicine in the state of Texas. All doctors must specialize all or part of their practice to evaluating and treating a cannabis patient’s condition. Physicians can apply to register with the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas on the Texas Department of Public Safety’s website.
